People Mentioned in this Blog

These are my peeps aka the people that make my day, make my blog, and help make my life.

Blair - Girl has been there since the first time I went out in DC. We met in college as sisters, and now she's one of my best friends. She's a determined, driven girl with a ton of love, quick wit, and a bit of a nerd, which is why we're friends. We've been there through heartaches and all night drink-a-thons, where we may or may not have spent over 5 mins laying on the sidewalk in Tenleytown laughing so hard we cried.

....

Sam - The only person on this list who understands that you can't burlyjudge. She popped into my life as a transfer at my college. We immediately (and by immediately I mean after I swamped myself with a semester of hell) formed a bond of "man-woman-slut-tomboy-y" people (her words not mine). She's there for anyone when they need someone to laugh with, cry with, talk with, or just hang out with, and she's one of my most favorite people.

....

Hh - Sam kept telling me there was this girl I just had to meet that we would get along famously... and then we met... and then we did... and then somehow she keeps letting me drag her into all these poor life decisions, like having drinking contests with bartenders on a school night. She's absolutely awesome, and in the short time I've known her, she has become one of my favorite people!

....

JG - Sam's old roommate. From the first moment I met this girl, I adored her. She's hilarious, charming, quirky, and awesome. She's passionate about her line of work - news and politics, and since we're on the same side of the political fence, she's great to have around since I really don't pay attention to what's going on.

....

Zoya - We met through our mutual love of American University Men's Basketball. She's one of the biggest-hearted people I know - always there to lend a shoulder or give a pick-me-up chat. She writes her own blog, and if you love sports - you should check it out! http://agirlsloveaffairwithsports.blogspot.com/

....

Ro - One of my favorite people in the DC area whom I don't see enough. She has always had a full plate even back in college, which is where I met her. She's got this great sense of humor, appreciates a good night on the town, and is always there for her friends - even if it means sacrificing herself as the perfect wingwoman.

....

Norma - My twin. She's got everything on lock. She's highly intelligent and doesn't mess around with it. Without her I'd have no one to lament about how much better Texas is than DC, then brag about how much DC has to offer that Texas doesn't. She's fun, feisty and hilarious. She loves college sports more than I love men, which let's be real - is a lot.

....

B1 - My oldest friend in Washington, DC. He's the only person I would ever trust to drive my car, because seriously that car is my baby. Whenever there's a night out to be had he's probably there and taking for.ev.er to get there. Sometimes I wonder if he's a girl he takes so long to get ready, but I absolutely adore this kid and wouldn't trade him for George Clooney, even if I could.

....

N - Passionate is all I can say about N. She's passionate about her causes. Passionate about her friends. Passionate about her life. And Passionate about wanting to have a good time. We met in college, and we've had many a quality time running around DC meeting men and stealing chairs from establishments in Dupont. Hey, they shouldn't leave them out there...

There are more people in my life, and I'll pop them up here when they appear in the blog!
